Tracoe Vario

TRACOE vario is a single-lumen, soft and flexible tracheostomy tube with a variably adjustable neck flange. A practical pressure mechanism allows the neck flange to be moved and adjusted individually for each patient. This makes length adjustment possible.

Wide range of
customisation options

TRACOE vario has a variably adjustable neck flange. Using a practical pressure mechanism, the neck flange can be moved on the cannula and positioned individually for each patient. By moving the orange lever, the neck flange is locked in the next step. This eliminates the need to lock it in place by turning it. A scale helps to position the adjustable flange, e.g. in preparation for a tube change.

The flexible wings at the neck flange of the TRACOE vario tracheostomy tube are individually adjustable. This offers further possibilities to take individual anatomical requirements into account.

Tracheostomy Tube Features

The vario tracheostomy tubes are available with and without spiral-reinforcement, with and without low-pressure cuff, in standard length or extra-long. In addition, 2 tracheostomy tubes with subglottic suction, the TRACOE vario extract and vario XL extract, which are also approved for ACV - Above Cuff Vocalization or "speaking under ventilation" - are available.

Subglottic suction

All TRACOE extract tracheostomy tubes with subglottic suction have the suction opening at the lowest possible point, directly above the low-pressure cuff. Secretion accumulations in the subglottic space can thus be suctioned there. This reduces the risk of bacterially contaminated secretions passing into the lower airways. The subglottic suction of the vario extract and vario XL extract tracheostomy tubes is embedded in the tube wall.

Minimally traumatic inserter

After a percutaneous dilation tracheotomy (PDT) has just been performed and for the reinsertion and/or a difficult tube change with a percutaneously created tracheostoma, the vario and vario XL tracheostomy tubes are also already available pre-installed on a minimally traumatic insertion system (P-tubes) according to the Seldinger technique. This is adapted to the respective cannula shape and length.
